Getting access to education is vital to many refugees and asylum seekers, who may need to improve English language skills, develop their IT skills or train for their future here.

Asylum Welcome has been able to make good links with many local colleges and education providers.

The education advice service runs every Tuesday and Friday and is open to any one who would like to consult our volunteer advisers about

taking a course. Help with registration, books or basic fees may be available from our educational grant funds.

Help with English is given to individuals and small groups at the office.

To get advice on educational needs, please call the office on 01865 722082 between 10 and 3pm and arrange an interview with Jean, Pat, Sister Bernadette, or Clare.

If you would like to offer educational help, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator on 01865 722082 or e-mail volunteer@asylum-welcome.supanet.com
